Ellen Voie

Ellen Voie is the President/CEO and founder of the Women In Trucking Association, formed to promote the employment of women in the trucking industry, address obstacles and to celebrate the successes of its members. Voie’s prior role was Manager of Retention and Recruiting Programs at Schneider after serving as the Executive Director of Trucker Buddy International. Voie is a Certified Association Executive. She holds a Class A CDL and a private pilot’s license.

She has been honored by the White House as a Transportation Innovator Champion of Change. She received the 2015 “Distinguished Alumna of the Year” award the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point Division of Communication. Voie was named one of Supply & Demand Chain Executives magazine’s “2016 Pros to Know.” In May, 2016, she was chosen as one of Fleet Owner’s Dozen Outstanding Women In Trucking. In 2017 Voie was named to Insight Success Magazine’s “The 30 Most Inspirational Leaders in Business” and "The 30 Most Innovative CEOs To Watch.” Voie was appointed to the FMCSA’s Motor Carrier Safety Committee and Entry Level Driver Training Advisory Committee. She serves on the Board of Directors of the Wisconsin Motor Carrier Association and is a member of the Wisconsin DOT’s Motor Carrier Advisory Committee.

Leah Shaver is the President & CEO of The National Transportation Institute (NTI), the trucking industry subject matter experts on professional driver wages, best practices and programs and in 2019 joined the lineup of Talk Radio Hosts on SiriusXM’s Road Dog Trucking Radio.
Leah’s career has been spent supporting long-term growth and expansion of the transportation industry while reinforcing its best resource – professional truck drivers! Recognized as a Top Woman to Watch in Transportation, Leah is a subject matter expert on driver compensation and strategies addressing driver recruiting, retention and development of the driver candidate pool.

He has over two decade’s hands on and investment experience in the hospitality industry as well.

Rick Reinoehl

Rick has thirty years of experience in Risk management and Safety, culminating in senior management at a top 50 for-hire trucking company before opening the consulting firm RSM Services in 2020. Rick now focuses on improving Risk and Safety for multiple clients in the Transportation Industry. Rick has been involved in numerous industry groups is insurance and safety, most recently as a member of the ATA Safety Policy Committee. Rick graduated from UC Santa Barbara in 1991 and now resides in Chattanooga, TN where he enjoys adventures with his family and community.

Ray J. Haight

Ray Haight is a second-generation trucker; his parents ran a small four truck fleet operation, which worked for a local shipper into the U.S. market. Ray Haight was a driver and Owner Operator for ten years logging over one million accident-free miles before starting his own company, which serviced long-haul lanes with both dry van and refrigerated equipment.

In 1984 he started Southwestern Express Inc. based in London, Ontario, which grew into a successful dry van and refrigerated 50-truck fleet. In 1990 MacKinnon Transport Ltd. was brought in as a partner, and Southwestern Express moved from London to Guelph, Ontario; in January of 2000, MacKinnon Transport Ltd. and Southwestern Express Inc. were amalgamated. Ray held President and COO's position until May of 2005; at that time, MacKinnon Transport Inc. was a 275-truck fleet, warehousing, and Logistics Company.

Currently, he resides in Lambeth, Ontario, where in addition to being an Executive Performance Impact Coach at JLE Industries, he also finds time to lend his energies to many transportation industries related associations.

Dr. Karen Heaton

Dr. Karen Heaton is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner, DOT Medical Examiner and Director of Occupational Health Nursing in the Deep South Center for Occupational Health and Safety, University of Alabama at Birmingham. Her research focuses on the effects of sleep and chronic stress on health among truck drivers. Along with her research and teaching experience, Dr. Heaton serves as a member on the NIOSH National Occupational Research Agenda Healthy Work Design workgroup and as a NIOSH Special Emphasis grant reviewer. She is also the content editor of the American Association of Occupational Health Nurses’ Core Curriculum (5th ed.).
